Metabolic Mastery - Danny Roddy & Georgi Dinkov
So if you know that going in, I think it makes the whole experience smoother. And if a person hits a road bump, sometimes that can be meaningful in terms of what they should do, you know, like they might have some deficiency of this or that, and they might explore it further. So it's taking thyroid and having a weird response to it, any of itself could be a metric and they could use that to explore their situation further. Some of the bad rep, the T3 or general thyroid got was associated with its usage as a weight loss tool, which again, this evidence is out there. Why are doctors not reading the old studies that showed the T3, I'm sorry, the thyroid therapy was all the rage back in the 40s and 50s. Yeah, but what happened is that I think the people who are taking it in conjunction, a lot of them are taking conjunction with the drug DMP dinitrophenol. And because the drug caused quite a few deaths because of overheating because it does raise the metabolic rate. Basically, the T3 got like a tainted by association because many of these people were taking thyroid as well. And since then, I think it's got this culture of like, oh, no, no, no, if you're taking T3, that's like, going to raise your temperature too much, it's going to make your balls brittle, or you lead to heart failure.
